If you were waiting for an excuse to set aside the massive 5 minutes it would take to run through the Haml tutorial 2.0 was just released.

“Haml feels odd for the first 20 minutes, but then after that YOU WILL BE FASTER.”

I can’t say enough about how much more enjoyable working with Haml and Sass in my views and css is over erb templates and raw css files.

There is also a lab to tinker around with but I would suggest converting a few of your views in an existing application to get the full effect.
